You’ve been waiting patiently for your chance to Go Commando. Things are running great in beta testing and we wanted to share a few things with you so that you can be ready to jump in with us when the app launches.
When you log in for the first time, you will have to “Connect with Facebook” before you can get started. Once you’ve connected, you will be directed through a quick questionnaire so that we can get to know you as a Commando. We’ve given a sample of a few of those questions here:
Once you’ve completed the questionnaire, you will be shown your marketplace where potential tasks will appear. Keep in mind, tasks will appear but you can not accept any until you fill out your secure payment information. We want to make sure you get paid for your hard work as a brand ambassador!
These simple steps will get you on your way to becoming a Brand Commando for companies such as HTC, L’Oreal, and more so make sure you’re signed up!

What if we do not have a Facebook account?
Unfortunately, you have to have a Facebook account to be able to log in.
How secure is the app? What is the likelihood of a hacker getting the billing information?
Great question, we have to have certain security protocols. It’s similar to what a bank or credit card would have on their app. The app would not get approved by app stores if we didn’t have those in place. The likelihood of a hacker getting your information is very low unless you are specifically targeted.
The app isn’t accepting my school email which ends in @terpmail.umd.edu, is there something i can do to fix that?
I was told you would have my school but you don’t. I’m really disappointed.
My app won’t load past the (email and phone number) section. It’s like the “next” button is disabled. Those bugs need to be fixed
There is currently an issue with the app accepting email addresses with two periods in it. For now, use a personal email address. If your issue continues, contact help@campuscommandos.com
Hey Toni, we do offer tasks to LSU. In the app it is listed as LSU Agricultural and Mechanical College because that is the official name of the University listed in the database we pull our school names from (and also seen here). When you register, be sure you select LSU Agricultural and Mechanical College as that is the LSU page.
I can also see that your student email has two periods in it which can mess with registration, so see our FAQs for the fix to that issue so you can get properly registered.
We are aware of the issues students are having in registering. With so much traffic going to the app yesterday, things were getting a bit hung up. If you have any other issues registering, please let us know and send details to help@campuscommando.com.
It won’t let me go any further than the ‘How should we contact you?” page…is there anything I can do to fix that?
I’m having the same issues with my email having two periods. I went to use my personal email like suggested, but the next button won’t work. Is this because it is not a school email?
It’s an issue many users are experiencing and we are working hard to fix it. Stay tuned!
The app should still accept your personal email address. Many people are having this same issue and we’re working hard to get it fixed for you all! If you have other questions about the app, our FAQs can answer some of them.
